Quality Specialist Job Details
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM
Pay Rate: $22.00/hour and up based on experience
Location : Madison, IN
Quality Specialist Requirements/Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required
  
• Associate degree preferred
  
• At least 2 years of relevant experience preferred
  
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  
• Experience using testing gauges and quality auditing
  
• Knowledge of ASTM and AASHTO requirements
  
• Ability to learn tubing and coating specifications
  
• Experience working with cross-functional teams
  
• Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills
  
• Ability to maintain professionalism and confidentiality
  

About the Quality Specialist Role
As a Quality Specialist, your responsibilities will include:

• Inspect products and materials to ensure compliance with company and customer requirements
  
• Write and implement SOPs as needed
  
• Collect, inspect, and mail product samples
  
• Calibrate gauges and quality testing equipment
  
• Complete monthly reporting and update quality boards
  
• Assist in implementing quality policies and procedures
  
• Work with production to identify and resolve defects
  
• Maintain gauge logs, quality records, and quality documentation
  
• Audit products throughout the manufacturing process
  
• Work within the INFOR system to identify production runs and investigate defects
  
• Assist the Quality Manager with containment, disposition, and additional quality initiatives
  
• Support Sales with new product requirements
