Full-Time Or Circulator Registered Nurse

Full-Time OR Circulator Registered Nurse responsible for managing nursing care of patients during surgery, ensuring safety, and maintaining a sterile environment for the surgical team. This role supports perioperative care and collaborates with multidisciplinary staff to deliver patient-centered outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with surgical team members and other healthcare professionals to deliver patient-centered care
Prepare the operating room with appropriate instruments, supplies, and equipment
Monitor patient status before, during, and after procedures
Maintain aseptic and sterile techniques
Document all nursing activities accurately in patient records
Educate patients and families regarding surgical procedures and postoperative care
Adhere to hospital protocols, safety regulations, and infection control policies

Qualifications:

Active Registered Nurse (RN) License New Mexico or Compact State License
Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) required
BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification required
Minimum of 1 year of recent OR Circulating experience required

Preferred Skills:

ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) Certification preferred
CNOR (Certified Perioperative Nurse) Certification preferred
