Position Overview

The Department of Neurology at our organization is on the lookout for an outstanding Division Chief for General, Comprehensive Neurology. This role is essential in guiding our esteemed health system. Candidates must possess an MD or equivalent, be board certified in Neurology, and have the capability to secure an unrestricted Pennsylvania medical license. Proven leadership experience in managing a department, division, or clinical group is also required.

What We Provide

Leadership Responsibilities

This role will operate under the guidance of the Department Chair and the Vice Chair of Clinical Operations, overseeing all clinical operations within the division. Key responsibilities include:

• Managing scheduling and quality assurance activities within the division.
• Participating in departmental and Medical Staff committees.
• Collaborating with technical managers to address operational challenges.
• Leading faculty recruitment efforts.
• Contributing to divisional and departmental budget planning.
• Assisting in report preparation and maintaining up-to-date web content for the division.
• Actively engaging in the annual performance evaluation process.
• Encouraging research initiatives within the General Comprehensive Neurology division.
• Coordinating educational programs in general neurology, including the APP Rapid Access in Neurology clinics.
