Legal Counsel (Miami)

Legal Counsel role with leading global travel company.Hybrid Legal Counsel role based in Miami.About Our ClientLeading global travel company based in Miami, Florida.Job DescriptionAs Legal Counsel, this varied role is responsible for: Advise on legal, corporate regulatory and compliance matters.Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of contracts and other legal documents.Collaborate with internal teams to manage legal risks and ensure alignment with company goals.Stay updated on relevant laws and regulations impacting the business.Provide training and guidance to staff on legal best practices.Support corporate governance and policy development initiatives.Maintain organized records and ensure proper documentation of legal matters.Work closely with outside counsel as required.MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law. MPI encourages applications from minorities, women, the disabled, protected veterans and all other qualified applicants.The Successful ApplicantThe successful Legal Counsel should have:A JD or LLM law degree and admission to practice law in the United States.Experience with contract drafting, negotiation, and legal analysis.Knowledge of legal and regulatory frameworks in the travel, retail or other customer-centric industry.Strong communication, collaboration and interpersonal skills for working with global teams.Analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities to address legal challenges.Based in Miami and able to work from the Miami office on a hybrid basis.Interest in travel and open to traveling to the organization's other offices globally.Work permit/ eligible to work in the US now and in the future without requiring sponsorship.What’s on OfferThe Legal Counsel will benefit from:Salary range of $150,000 to $170,000 annually (depending on relevant experience).Annual bonus.Competitive healthcare, vision and dental benefits.Generous PTO and leave.Opportunity to travel to other offices in the US and globally.Interested in taking the next step in your in-house legal career?
