Caregiver Position at Executive Home Care of Diablo ValleyImmediate need for experienced, licensed applicants for 4 shifts per week 10am-2pm in Hayward Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays. Must have reliable transportation to drive the client. Must like and be comfortable with dogs. Assist with mobility, transfers, and ambulation.Medication Reminders: Provide reminders for medication according to prescribed schedules. Support clients in managing their medication routines.Meal Preparation and Nutrition: Assist with meal planning and preparation, adhering to dietary requirements. Monitor and encourage proper nutrition and hydration.Companionship and Social Interaction: Engage clients in meaningful conversations and companionship. Accompany clients to appointments and social activities.Health Monitoring: Observe and report changes in clients' health status to the care team. Document care provided and any notable observations.High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Previous experience as a caregiver. Certification in CPR and First Aid. Active California Home Care Aid license. Compassionate and empathetic attitude. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
