As a CNC Programmer, you’ll play a key role in developing precise machining strategies that power the production of complex parts for the medical, aerospace, and defense industries. With a growing book of business and an increasingly complex mix of components, the need for expert programming has never been more critical. --- The Work You’ll Be Doing In this role, you will: Create CNC programs for multi-axis mills, lathes, Swiss machines, EDMs, lasers, and grinders Develop setup sheets, tooling strategies, and in-process documentation Support machinists on the floor with troubleshooting, setup, and process optimization Collaborate with engineering and NPI teams on new products and DFM Optimize cycle times, validate tooling solutions, and drive continuous improvement Assist with CAD/CAM modeling and fixture design when needed --- Machines, Controls & Software You’ll work with equipment such as: Machines : Multi-axis mills, mill-turns, Swiss lathes, EDMs Controls : Fanuc, Siemens, Mazak, etc. CAM Software : Siemens NX, Mastercam, PartMaker Inspection Tools : Micrometers, calipers, indicators, CMM (preferred) --- ✅ What We’re Looking For Required: 5+ years of precision CNC machining experience 2+ years of hands-on CNC programming experience Proficiency in CAM software and G-code/M-code Strong understanding of complex machining processes Preferred: Experience with new product introduction (NPI) Background in lean manufacturing or CI Familiarity with GD&T and ERP systems Prior experience supporting high-mix / low-volume production --- Materials You’ll Work With Stainless Steel Titanium Aluminum Plastics Exotic alloys (as applicable) --- Why Machinists Like Working Here Machinists and programmers choose Tecomet because: You’ll work on some of the most advanced and meaningful parts in the world Cross-functional collaboration with engineers, machinists, and CI experts A culture that values craftsmanship, problem-solving, and precision Strong pay, professional environment, and steady growth --- Pay, Benefits & Schedule Pay Range : $120,000 – $139,999/year (based on experience) Medical, dental, vision insurance 401(k) with company match PTO + paid holidays Training, tuition reimbursement & professional development --- Apply Interested CNC professionals can apply directly through hireCNC.
