Production Associate \n

\nKanPak®, a Golden State Foods company, is seeking a Production Associate for our Arkansas City, KS facility. In this role, you will support production operations by ensuring products are properly processed, packaged, and prepared for warehouse storage. You’ll play a key part in maintaining quality, food safety, and efficiency standards within a fast-paced, 24/7 manufacturing environment.\n What You'll Do \n

\n
• Load bundles of boxes into machines
\n
• Operate labelers and ink-jet printers
\n
• Operate box erectors and case packers
\n
• Load pallets onto conveyors
\n
• Stack finished cases onto pallets for storage
\n
• Use tools such as wrenches and pallet jacks
\n
• Perform manual cleaning of equipment
\n
• Maintain cleanliness and adhere to housekeeping standards
\n
• Ensure compliance with food safety, quality assurance, and regulatory standards
\n
• Contribute to operational excellence with a positive and flexible attitude
\n
• Support overall production goals related to quality, safety, cost, and customer satisfaction
\n
• Perform additional duties as assigned
\n

\n What You'll Need \n

\n
• High school diploma or GED required
\n
• 2–3 years of production or related experience preferred
\n
• Ability to operate production equipment and follow procedures
\n
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
\n
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
\n
• Willingness to be flexible with schedule, including weekends and overtime
\n

\n The Schedule & Setting \n

\n
• Full-time, 1st Shift 6a - 2p 
\n
• Facility operates 24/7; flexibility required for weekends and overtime
\n
• Work performed in a production/manufacturing environment
\n
• Physical demands include:\n
  \n
  • Frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and reaching
  \n
  • Lifting up to 50 lbs regularly and occasionally carrying up to 100 feet
  \n
  • Occasional stair/step climbing
  \n
  • Use of hands for handling, tools, and equipment
  \n
  • Visual requirements include close, distance, and peripheral vision
  \n
\n
