Preferred Qualifications:

• Valid School Psychologist certification/licensure for the state of Louisiana
• Previous experience working within the school setting, supporting K-12 students
• Strong assessment, counseling, and consultation skills
• Proficiency in developing and implementing IEPs and behavior plans
• Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, administrators, and families
• Excellent communication, organizational, and documentation abilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations and assessments
• Interpret data and provide meaningful input during IEP meetings
• Deliver counseling and support services to address academic, emotional, and behavioral concerns
• Collaborate with educational staff to design interventions and monitor student progress
• Participate in Response to Intervention (RTI) and Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) processes
• Maintain timely, thorough records aligned with district, state, and federal regulations
