We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Cable Build Technician to join our team and support a dedicated project. In this role, you will be responsible for the high-level construction, repair, and testing of equipment cables and support systems. This position involves focused, repetitive work on specific cable harnesses, and we are looking for someone who takes pride in precision and quality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Solder, build, repair, and test equipment cables and support equipment to exacting standards.
- Interpret and follow build instructions, electrical CCA (Circuit Card Assembly) schematics, Bills of Materials (BOMs), and assembly drawings.
- Perform repetitive assembly of specific cable harnesses for a designated project, ensuring consistency and reliability.
- Conduct functional testing and quality checks on all completed cable assemblies.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Required Qualifications:
- Must be certified in soldering (e.g., IPC-J-STD-001 or equivalent).
- Previous hands-on experience building test equipment assets, cable harnesses, or equivalent military/aerospace/industrial cable assemblies.
- Proven ability to read and interpret engineering documentation, including schematics, BOMs, and assembly drawings.
