Adjunct Faculty

Position Summary Wingate University is seeking applicants to fill several part‑time adjunct teaching positions in the English & Modern Languages discipline. These part‑time positions will primarily teach in‑person classes on the main campus unless otherwise specified. The main campus is located on 500+ acres of beautiful landscape and is only 25 minutes from the Charlotte metropolitan area. Duties & Responsibilities Teach undergraduate courses in the English & Modern Languages discipline. Maintain regular and predictable on‑campus attendance for in‑person classes. Align teaching activities with the University’s mission, vision, and strategic roadmap. Perform other job duties or responsibilities as assigned. Education & Experience Master’s degree or higher in a related discipline and college teaching experience. Experience with learning management systems (e.g., Canvas) and content development tools such as Zoom, Snagit, Camtasia, and other e‑learning tools is preferred.
