We are seeking an experienced Senior Mobile Application Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in developing high-quality, scalable mobile applications for both iOS and Android platforms, with a focus on cross-platform development. You will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining our agricultural SaaS application, which is forms-heavy and map-based, integrating complex workflows and geospatial functionalities.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain mobile applications using Swift (iOS) and Kotlin (Android), with a focus on cross-platform frameworks (e.g., Flutter, React Native).
• Build and optimize forms-heavy interfaces to support complex data entry and workflows for agricultural use cases.
• Integrate map-based features , leveraging geospatial APIs (e.g., Google Maps, Mapbox) for location-based services and data visualization.
• Develop and maintain APIs to connect mobile applications with backend services, ensuring seamless data flow and performance.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend engineers in an Agile/SCRUM environment , using Jira for task management and sprint planning.
• Write clean, maintainable, and testable code, adhering to best practices and coding standards.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment processes to ensure high-quality deliverables.
• Troubleshoot and resolve performance issues, bugs, and user feedback in a timely manner.
• Stay updated on mobile development trends and propose innovative solutions to enhance the application.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience in mobile application development.
• Strong proficiency in Swift for iOS development and Kotlin for Android development.
• Hands-on experience with cross-platform development frameworks (e.g., Flutter, React Native).
• Proven experience in API development and integration (RESTful APIs, GraphQL, etc.).
• Familiarity with geospatial technologies and map-based features (e.g., Google Maps, Mapbox, or similar).
• Experience working in an Agile/SCRUM environment, with proficiency in Jira for project management.
• Strong understanding of mobile UI/UX principles, particularly for forms-heavy applications .
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in the agricultural technology sector or familiarity with agricultural workflows.
• Knowledge of backend technologies (e.g., Go, Rust) for better collaboration with backend teams.
• Experience with automated testing frameworks and CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong communication skills and a passion for building user-focused applications.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $100,000.00 - $115,000.00 per year
