This position coordinates and provides recreational and activity programs for the Subacute Unit.QualificationsEDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAININGHigh School Diploma or Equivalent or one year related experience required for new hires, effective April 2014Current Certified Nursing Assistant certificate, or experience as an Occupational Therapist Assistant or Recreation TherapistMinimum one year previous experience in an acute care hospital or a social or recreational program within a healthcare setting required.Six months recent experience as an Activity Coordinator in a Subacute setting preferred.Current BLS (AHA) upon hire and maintain current.Satisfactory completion of Activities Coordinator course approved by the California Department of Public Health and Social Services preferredPay TransparencySherman Oaks Hospital offers competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package that provides employees the flexibility to tailor benefits according to their individual needs. A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $25.91 to $25.91.
