Occasional extended hours, including evenings and weekends, may be required for IT Department projects.Job DescriptionDesigns, implements, and manages FTWCCU's LAN, WAN, network segments, wireless access points and internet connections; implements and manages network hardware and software, analyzes and resolves third-tier support problems, and monitors the network to ensure its availability to system users and security of member data; ensures network security procedures are followed, researches and evaluates new third-party vendors, software, and services that will support staff and member needs as part of our corporate strategic plan; troubleshoots problems via automated network monitoring systems, and makes recommendations for enhancements in the implementation of future servers and networks.RequirementsCandidate must have 3-5 years' relevant experience, including maintaining and supporting a virtualized VMWare server environment. Advanced understanding of Microsoft Server, VMWare, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, routers, layer 3 switches, VLANs, VPNs, and firewalls.
