Industrial Electrician

Job Description Key Responsibilities: Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, conduit systems, fixtures, and various industrial electrical devices. Diagnose and troubleshoot issues in electrical systems, including VFDs, motor control systems, and AC/DC control circuits. Perform PLC diagnostics and repairs. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide reliable electrical support across departments. Ensure all maintenance activities comply with applicable safety and operational standards at federal, state, local, and customer levels. Follow machine safety protocols, including the use of safety switches and guards. Perform mechanical and electrical troubleshooting with minimal supervision. Assist in the setup and installation of changeover components as needed. Work may occur in varying conditions such as dusty, hot, cold, humid, or wet environments, indoors or outdoors, depending on the task. Required Knowledge & Skills: Ability to assemble, install, test, and troubleshoot complex electrical systems in compliance with relevant codes. Experience working with 480-volt, 3-phase electrical systems. Proficiency in setting up and using PLCs and VFDs. Skilled in using electrical testing equipment like voltmeters and ohmmeters. Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
