Aviation Welder Details:

• Temp-to-Hire position
• $31.03 to $34.24 / hour
• Full Time work available
• First Shift ( Monday through Friday from 06:00am to 02:30pm )

• Perform cleaning, preparation, masking, brazing, stress relief, and welding
• Weld new and used aircraft components using GMAW, GTAW, oxy?acetylene, and other approved processes
• Fabricate and assemble parts, tooling, fixtures, and support assemblies
• Read and follow technical manuals, drawings, specifications, SOPs, and FAA regulations
• Accurately document completed work per regulatory and customer requirements
• Order welding supplies and materials according to policy

Position Levels:

• Aviation Welder II
  • 2–5 years of welding or fabrication experience (aviation or industrial)
  • Proficient in routine aircraft welding and fabrication tasks
• Aviation Welder III
  • 5+ years of advanced welding/fabrication experience
  • Fully certified across multiple materials, techniques, and disciplines
  • Performs complex welding and repair tasks with minimal oversight
  • Mentors junior welders and supports process development
  • Assists with research, creation, and training of new procedures

Aviation Welder Qualifications:

• Experience welding aircraft, turbine engine, or high?precision components required
• Ability to certify to current welding standards in multiple materials
• High School Diploma or equivalent; Valid driver’s license
• Ability to lift up to 75lbs, work around fumes, vibration, and moving equipment
• Willingness to work overtime, weekends, and travel as needed

• Applicant may be subject to a background check
• Applicant may be subject to a Motor Vehicle Report
• Pre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment
