Manufacturing Engineer

job summary:
We are searching for a Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineer in Cambridge, MA to work for an industry leading electronics and medical device company. This role will bridge the gap between Research and Development and the contract manufacturer by supporting design transfer.

This is a contract position expected to last through the end of the year and could be longer.

responsibilities:

• Review engineering drawings and technical documentation to ensure adherence to Design for Manufacture (DFM) principles

• Support design transfer from Research and Design to manufacturing

• Develop incoming inspection processes
