Registered Nurse – Labor and Delivery (LDRP)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Every Other Weekend Required | On-Call Required (Low Census)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Labor, Delivery, Recovery, and Postpartum (LDRP) setting within a Short Term Acute Care / Level III Trauma Center
• Maintain patient ratios of 1:1–2 for laboring patients and 1:3–4 for postpartum couplets
• Float between units as needed, including potential float to nearby sister facilities
• Participate in on-call coverage during low-census periods
• Document patient care accurately using Epic electronic health records
• Adhere to block scheduling requirements and all contracted scheduling obligations

Required Qualifications

• Valid Washington State RN license or active Compact RN license (required at time of submission)
• Minimum of 1–2 years of LDRP or NICU experience
• Proficiency with Epic charting system
• Ability to work night shifts, every other weekend, and participate in on-call as required
• Must comply with block scheduling requirements
• Two professional references covering at least one year of experience within the last three years required prior to start

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience in a Labor and Delivery or LDRP setting
• Experience in a Level III Trauma Center or similarly complex acute care environment
• Familiarity with high-acuity postpartum couplet care
