Working with other members of the team, you'll assist and/or lead design teams in the design, analysis, and delivery of projects ranging from local waterfront projects to international multi-billion-dollar port developments. During your time with us, you will be responsible for the preparation and review of structural calculations/designs, specifications, design criteria and engineering reports, technical approaches and level of efforts for proposals, as well as serving as a conduit for resource and knowledge sharing between our offices. You will be leading structural teams in the technical delivery of various aspects of our projects, from small structural tasks to entire packages. You will also serve as a structural QA/QC expert on maritime projects. If you're up for the challenge, we've been looking for someone just like you. Join our team and help us lay the foundation for human progress.External Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in civil/structural engineeringProfessional Engineer license (preferably in New York/New Jersey or willingness to get reciprocity in New York and New Jersey)Substantial years of experience in the design of marine structures and facilitiesExperience with national and international codes such as ASCE, UFC, IBC, Eurocode, and British StandardExpert working knowledge of ACI, AISC, PIANCProficient in the use of STAAD (or similar structural analysis software, such as SAP2000) and AutoCADPrior work experience on marine structures and facilitiesExtensive work experience with carrying out structural design and analysis, writing technical specifications, Basis of Design documents, technical reports and memosExperience leading structural teams in the technical delivery of tasks and projectsPreferred Qualifications:Master's degree in civil engineeringPrior working experience on international projectsExperience managing and leading a team of engineers on small to medium-sized marine structures projectsWork experience with RevitOur health and welfare benefits are designed to invest in you, and in the things you care about.
