Software Developer

Salary: $85,000 - 125,000 per year Requirements:

• We are looking for a bachelors degree in computer science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• We need strong written and verbal communication skills.
• We value experience with, or a strong interest in, software-hardware interfacing and robotics.
• We value experience with, or a strong interest in, signal processing, data science, structural biology, mass spectrometry, or chromatography (LC/MS).
• We need proficiency in Windows desktop GUI technologies such as WPF, WinForms, Avalonia, or WinUI.
• We need proficiency with version control systems such as git; experience with Azure DevOps is an advantage.
• We are looking for familiarity with VB.net, C++, Python, JavaScript, or Lua.
• We need familiarity with relational databases (SQL) and document databases.
• We value experience with continuous integration; direct experience with Azure Pipelines from code commit to published artifact is an advantage.
• We need experience writing integration tests and unit tests using MSTest, NUnit, or xUnit.
• We need knowledge of the software development life cycle (SDLC), modern application architecture, and software design principles such as SOLID.
• We need knowledge of common design patterns and data structures.
• We need the ability to learn quickly and transfer existing skills to new stacks, frameworks, and programming languages.
• We are looking for proficiency in C#, .NET Framework 4.8, and .NET 8+.
• We value analytical decision-making using data-driven insights and feedback to guide business-level direction.

• We design, develop, test, and maintain high-quality software applications for mass spectrometry data analysis and automation systems.
• We ensure project timelines are met and deliverables meet our quality standards.
• We conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to strengthen code quality and maintainability.
• We take part in planning and executing software development projects.
• We work closely with research teams to integrate software solutions with automated hardware systems.
• We provide technical software support to internal automation specialists and pharmaceutical customers.
• We document software designs, specifications, and user manuals.
