Position : Banquet Houseperson

Location : Courtyard by Marriott, Nashua

Pay : Starting at $15 per hour, plus monthly monetary performance bonus

Position Details: Event Center Housepersons are directly responsible for creating an outstanding event through room and equipment set up. As an event Houseperson, you are the first step to successful Banquets! The anchor on the team to ensure banquet rooms are set up according to the plan, necessary equipment is staged and ready for the Service Team to take over and execute. A key team member on the Events Team, you will also maintain event space and all equipment. This position requires well-honed attention to detail, a drive for success, and pride in taking care of our guests and exceeding their expectations. On the Banquet and Events Team, remember, we work when our guests play and meet, so weekend, evening and holiday availability is required.

Requirements:

• Capable of working in a fast-paced environment.

• Effective communication and listening skills.

• Able to follow directions.

• Must be able to speak fluent English and communicate with guest and fellow co-workers.

• The employee will be required to stand, walk, sit, reach with hands and arms, kneel and crouch. The employee regularly lifts or move 50 pounds.
