Your future role at a glance Location: West Allis, WI Facility: Greater Milwaukee Area Department/Specialty: Oncology Schedule: Part Time | 8am-4:30pm How you'll make an impact in this role Lead patient navigation for those on oral chemotherapy, providing the education and clinical monitoring necessary to ensure safe treatment and optimal health outcomes. Bridge the gap between patients, physicians, and insurance providers to streamline care delivery and act as a dedicated advocate for the patient’s journey. Remove barriers to care by proactively identifying psychosocial or financial hurdles, ensuring that every patient - regardless of insurance status - has a clear path to treatment. Drive clinical excellence by tracking patient outcomes and transforming that data into actionable process improvements that elevate the standard of care for the entire team. Empower patients through personalized adherence coaching and toxicity management, reducing medication risks while improving their quality of life during treatment. What minimum qualifications you'll need Licensure / Certification / Registration: Registered Nurse credentialed from the Wisconsin Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. BLS Provider preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. Education: Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.
