About the Position

Opportunity:

PT - Physical Therapist

Job Details:

• Shift times start between 7:00 AM to 8:00 AM and end between 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM with flexible start time options
• Current scheduling needs are Monday through Friday
• 1 weekend shift per month required in addition to full-time hours with self-selected weekend shifts
• Patient ratio of approximately 10 patients per 8-hour day
• Perform evaluations and treatments across all inpatient units as well as the emergency department (NICU patients not covered)
• Daily patient assignments with the goal of keeping each therapist on only 1-2 floors
• Work with a wide variety of patients including higher volumes of cardiac, vascular, and orthopedic patients
• Equipment used includes basic rehab equipment, portable parallel bars, portable stairs, Sara Stedy, ceiling lifts, and hyper lifts
• Documentation system: Sunrise Allscripts
• NH Physical Therapy License must be in hand at time of submittal
• BLS certification required
• Vestibular experience preferred but not required
• Acute care experience required
• Dress code: scrubs with no specific color required

This 330-bed inpatient facility offers a dynamic and collaborative work environment with a dedicated team experienced across multiple clinical settings. The physical therapy department covers all inpatient units as well as the emergency department, providing exposure to a wide variety of patients and diagnoses. The facility is well-equipped with modern rehabilitation tools and supported by a multidisciplinary team including physical therapists, occupational therapists, speech therapists, and a therapy director.
