About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical-Surgical/Telemetry Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 1 year of experience within the last 3 years in Medical-Surgical/Telemetry. License: Oregon RN license pending is acceptable. Certifications: BLS through AHA. Must-Have: Experience in reading telemetry strips. Ability to interpret dysrhythmias and manage dysrhythmias. Experience in non-invasive airway management and peripheral line care/management. Description: Position available for a Registered Nurse in the Medical-Surgical/Telemetry specialty. The nurse will work on a 1:4 patient ratio. First-time travelers are welcome. Weekend shifts are required every other weekend. The clinician may float to meet facility needs. The facility accommodates local candidates and accepts pending licenses. Daily census includes adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients. The unit offers interdisciplinary support including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, and more. Patient diagnoses range from medical-surgical to intermediate levels of care. Nurses are expected to have experience with cardiac medications and protocols for insulin and heparin.
