Training Coordinator

Job Overview Duties include coordinating and implementing the department’s technical training program and overseeing all licensing training for Irving Water. As a program lead, this position provides technical guidance to two to five employees. Responsibilities Delivering training. Coordinating with outside vendors. Purchasing training materials. Managing the partnership with IISD for career and technical education. Supporting water conservation initiatives through public education and the City’s leak detection program. Qualifications Associate degree or equivalent in Environmental Science, Water Operations Management, or a related field. Three years of water distribution system experience, including at least one year each in water operations and wastewater operations. Valid Texas driver’s license. TCEQ Class C Water Distribution License (with ability to obtain a Class B within two years). TCEQ Level II Wastewater License (with ability to obtain Level III within two years). Ability to meet qualifications required for TCEQ approved water/wastewater licensing instructor. Résumé must be submitted with the application.
