Responsibilities Making media – 20% Culturing fungi – 10% Extracting DNA and conducting PCR – 20% Thrashing seed – 20% Planting seed – 20% Collecting field data – 10% Position Summary Conduct laboratory, greenhouse and field work including making media, culturing fungi, extracting DNA, conducting PCR, planting seed, and collecting data. Education & Experience Completed two years of high school. Knowledge, Skills, Abilities Some experience in field work and lab work. Physical Demands Work outdoors in heat and lift up to 25 pounds.
