About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President of Medical Operations to serve as the senior physician executive for the Brazos Valley Market. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing strategic clinical leadership across a five-hospital integrated health system, with a focus on improving quality, patient safety, physician engagement, and operational performance. This role involves partnering with the Market President and collaborating with various executive and hospital leadership teams to champion evidence-based care, reduce clinical variation, and support strategic growth initiatives. The Vice President will also be tasked with fostering strong relationships with both employed and independent physicians, mentoring physician leaders, and shaping the long-term clinical strategy for the market. Applicants must be accomplished physician executives with a Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree, a minimum of 5 years of medical practice experience, and a minimum of 5 years in a senior physician executive leadership role. An active medical license or the ability to obtain licensure in Texas, as well as board certification, is required. The ideal candidate will have an advanced degree in a related field, experience in multi-hospital physician operations, and a proven track record in driving physician engagement, quality improvement, and strategic clinical initiatives. A collaborative leadership style, strong business acumen, and a passion for delivering exceptional patient care are essential for this role.
