Mortgage Loan Officer

Description Summit Credit Union, voted number one employer by WSJ and top ten by Madison Magazine, has an exciting opportunity to join our mortgage team as a Mortgage Loan Officer for the Beaver Dam Market. As the MLO you are responsible for providing personalized, customized financial services to potential members and current members of the credit union. You’ll support Summit Credit Union's mission and vision by acting as a trusted financial advisor and recommending solutions to improve their financial situation, originate investment‑quality loans while meeting the needs of the entire membership, and build trustworthy relationships with branch staff and lending processors. You will also plan and participate in real‑estate business development activities of the credit union. Ideal candidate will have the equivalent of an associate’s degree in finance or a business‑related field and a minimum of five years’ mortgage lending experience in a retail financial environment, with a customer‑focused, sales‑oriented background. Experience with loan products such as 1st mortgages, 2nd mortgages, WHEDA, construction loans, and loan processing is required.
