Senior Accountant

We are currently seeking a senior-level accounting professional to join our accounting and finance team. This is a great opportunity for someone who is interested in developing their skills in an aggressive, fast-paced and rapidly growing trading environment. Job Description Prepare SEC filings and disclosures (10‑Q, 10‑K and 8‑K) Review quarterly and year‑end SEC filings Prepare consolidated financial statements Research various technical accounting areas Work with external auditors during annual/quarterly audits Assist with the monthly close process (journal entries, account reconciliations, etc.) Work on ad hoc projects as assigned Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required: CPA preferred 3+ years of public or corporate accounting experience Previous experience working in trading firms, hedge funds, or other similar asset management firms required Must have strong experience creating reports in Excel Previous experience working with Great Plains preferred Must have strong knowledge of GAAP Must be very detail oriented Must be able to prioritize, multi‑task and be flexible to handle changing priorities Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills Additional Information All your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.
