MIDB is seeking to hire a temporary, highly experienced Infant Care and Development Specialist to support and advance TeleOutreach initiatives and research efforts. The ideal candidate brings clinical and research experience in infant development, extensive experience working with NICU populations, and a demonstrated ability to translate complex knowledge and new research into impactful educational materials for both community providers and families. Job Responsibilities Early Childhood & NICU Subject Matter Expert (75%)- Within this role, you will serve as a subject matter expert, guiding and contributing to the development, curation, and dissemination of evidence-based resources for children with NICU experience for the MIDB Family Portal - an accessible digital platform that includes expert-vetted educational materials and engagement opportunities. You will lead in expanding NICU-focused content, including the refinement of educational modules and provider and caregiver resources. Key topic areas include transition from NICU to home, developmental milestones, early language acquisition, and social-emotional health and development. You will have strategic oversight to ensure materials are clinically accurate and responsive to our diverse and underserved populations.
- In addition, you will support and strengthen ongoing community provider capacity building initiatives through the Department of Defense Military Child and Family Collaboration Study. This includes serving on the MIDB HUB team for Project ECHO (Extension for Community Healthcare Outcomes) initiatives and presenting and/or contributing to NICU and early childhood-focused ECHO topic sprints and related training/provider capacity building initiatives.
Community Engagement and Content Dissemination (25%)
- In addition to the MIDB TeleOutreach team, this role requires close interdisciplinary collaboration with teams in occupational therapy, pediatric mental health, and related specialties to ensure cohesive content, particularly in areas intersecting with autism and other developmental differences. Within this role, you will leverage your connections to both nurture and expand internal and community partnerships and effectively disseminate knowledge and materials. PAY & BENEFITS
Pay Range: $70.00-$75.00; depending on education/qualifications/experience
Time Appointment: Temporary/Casual; 4 hours/week

Qualifications

Required Qualifications
- Up to 4 hours/week
- Advanced degree with a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience
- Extensive training and experience in providing care to children ages 0-3 years old, with focus in infants with complex mental, emotional, developmental, and/or behavioral health needs who received care in a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit
- Extensive experience facilitating and developing tools and resources for families of young children to aid in their knowledge of growth and development
Preferred Qualfications
- Doctorate in Nursing Practice (DNP)
- Experience leading or contributing to biomedical or social/behavioral research projects
- Experience working with diverse, underserved, rural, and/or military-connected populations
- Current or previous role with MIDB MHealth Fairview NICU Follow-Up Clinic
- Proficient with technology and telehealth platforms
