Electric Orange Creative is a growing boutique digital agency located in Brooklyn, NY, and currently working hybrid out of our Greenpoint loft office. We are one of a dozen Shopify + official marketing partners worldwide.

We are seeking a sharp, digitally savvy associate to help manage SEO/GEO responsibilities across our client portfolio. Previous client experience is required, and candidates should have exceptional interpersonal skills, a desire to utilize AI tools and worfklows, and exceed at multitasking and organizing work around deadlines.

Core Responsibilities

• Execute keyword and prompt research for SEO and GEO, maintain prompt tracking sets, and identify citation gaps where competitors are cited and clients are not yet cited
• Develop and optimize content for blog, landing, and category pages following E-E-A-T principles and AI citation best practices
• Measure organic and AI search performance and own weekly, monthly, and quarterly SEO/GEO reporting, including AI Visibility Reports
• Optimize product feeds and metadata at scale so client products surface in organic listings and AI shopping experiences
• Support technical SEO/GEO audits and identify opportunities to improve site performance, conversion rate, and user experience
• Support off-site GEO work, including review profiles, community presence, and publisher outreach
• Conduct ongoing competitor analysis across traditional search and AI-generated answers
• Implement recommendations directly in client CMS platforms (Shopify, Contentful, Webflow, WordPress, etc.)
• Work closely with project managers to deliver initiatives on time and communicate progress, risks, and dependencies to internal stakeholders
• Participate in internal and client calls and support client communication via email, Basecamp, and Slack
• Stay current on SEO, GEO, and AI platform updates and maintain internal documentation and SOPs

Education & Experience

• 1–3 years of prior experience in SEO, GEO, digital marketing, or a related field, or a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Technical, or a related experience 

What EO Is Looking For

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage a workload effectively across multiple clients and priorities simultaneously
• Excellent time management and proactive communication around workload and deadlines
• Strong copywriting skills with the ability to write and optimize search-driven content
• Solid foundation in SEO fundamentals and hands-on interest in GEO, with a working understanding of how AI search platforms retrieve, summarize, and cite sources
• Clear written and verbal communication skills
• Intrinsically motivated with the ability to execute independently while thinking strategically about search behavior
• Comfortable using AI tools like ChatGPT, Claude, and Gemini to speed up research, analysis, and content work, with the judgment to QA what they produce
• Bonus:
• Experience working with ecommerce platforms and SAAS websites
• Familiarity with data tracking tools (Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog, Google Search Console, GA4) and AI visibility platforms (Semrush AI Visibility Toolkit, Profound, Peec AI, or similar)
• Experience with schema markup, product feeds, or basic HTML
• Prior experience with task management tools (Asana, Monday, ClickUp, etc.)
• Previous agency or client-facing experience

The target salary range for this role is $50,000.00-$65,000.00 depending on experience.
