Details 25-bed Labor & Delivery unit including L&D, PP, NBN, 2 ORs, 2 RRs, and 2 ANU rooms with 4 beds Unit consists of 5 LD rooms and 12 PP beds Average daily census of 15-25 mothers, babies, and laboring patients Clinician to patient ratios: L&D 1:2-3 for evals, 1:1 for active labor, magnesium drip, or epidural patients; PP 1:3-4 Uses EPIC EMR Day rotate schedule with primary day shifts and rotation to evenings and nights as needed (straight days not available) Shifts rotate between 7:00am-7:30pm, 11:00am-11:30pm, and 7:00pm-7:30am Every other weekend (EOW) required One night of call required 36 or 48 hour weekly commitment No floating required Requirements Active Massachusetts RN license (no conditional licenses accepted) Minimum 3 years of experience required Current BLS, NRP, and EFM certifications (EFM renewed every 2 years) AHA ACLS preferred Skills required in Labor & Delivery, Postpartum, Circulating, and Newborn Care Flu vaccine required with no religious or medical exemptions allowed Additional Information Provide comprehensive care across Labor & Delivery, Postpartum, and Newborn Nursery areas Perform circulating duties in OR settings as needed Local candidates must reside at least 60 miles from Boston to qualify for standard travel rate RTO must be submitted for consideration American Traveler Job ID P-725178.
