Technical Program Manager for Corporate EngineeringAnthropic's mission is to create reliable, interpretable, and steerable AI systems. In partnership with Anthropic's IT & Security organization, you will drive end-to-end solutions across the company, delivering the right products, tools, platforms, and experiences for all Ants as they work to create a world for safe and powerful AI. In the simplest terms, you build and drive solutions to enable all of Anthropic to be more productive.You will use your technical and program management expertise to lead complex, multi-disciplinary programs from start to finish. You will work with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, lead execution, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. You are equally comfortable explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to leadership as you are discussing the technical tradeoffs in product development with engineers.This role owns the full spectrum of Corporate Engineering programs: the IT systems Ants depend on daily, first-party and third-party software platforms, endpoint devices, office infrastructure, AV and collaboration equipment, network infrastructure, and the programs that scale our physical office footprint as Anthropic grows.ResponsibilitiesPartner across Corporate Engineering domains to drive alignment and delivery: Work with globally distributed product, engineering, and architecture teams to foster collaboration, help teams adopt enterprise standards, and enable faster delivery with consistent practices across the organizationDefine and maintain core architectural foundations: Assist in establishing and maintaining the architectural standards that underpin Corporate Engineering systems, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security as Anthropic growsLead office deployment and scaling programs: Own end-to-end planning and execution for new office buildouts and expansions, coordinating across IT, Facilities, Security, and external vendors to deliver fully operational workspaces on scheduleOwn internal systems and infrastructure programs: Drive programs for all internal systems and hardware deployed in Anthropic buildings, including network infrastructure, AV equipment, printing and collaboration hardware, and building technology integrationsLead endpoint and device management programs: Own global programs for corporate laptops, mobile devices, and endpoint management, ensuring Ants have secure, well-managed devices that enable productivity from day oneDrive IT Operations excellence: Lead programs that improve IT service delivery, support operations, and the overall Ant experience with technology, driving continuous improvement in reliability and responsivenessManage enterprise software and platform programs: Lead programs for the 1P and 3P software platforms Ants depend on, including HR systems, productivity tools, and business applications, from evaluation through deployment and ongoing optimizationCollaborate with cross-functional stakeholders: Work closely with Security, Facilities, People, Finance, and functional teams across Anthropic to ensure Corporate Engineering programs meet diverse organizational needsCommunicate effectively at all levels: Comfortable communicating across all levels of Anthropic from presenting analyses, recommendations, and program status to leadership, engaging deeply on technical tradeoffs with engineering teams, and communicating broadly to the entire companyYou May Be a Good Fit If You Have8+ years of experience in IT, Corporate Engineering, or Enterprise Technology, with at least 4+ years leading complex, cross-functional programsTechnical background in enterprise IT systems, including endpoint management, identity and access management, network infrastructure, and SaaS platformsExperience leading office buildout or infrastructure deployment programs, coordinating across IT, Facilities, and external vendorsProven experience as a Technical Program Manager or similar role in a technology-focused environment, with a track record of leading company-wide programs to successful completionStrong communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts for executive audiences and engage credibly with engineers on technical detailsAbility to manage ambiguity and drive clarity in fast-paced, evolving environments where requirements and priorities shiftStrong collaboration skills with proven ability to partner across diverse stakeholders including IT, Security, Facilities, People, Finance, and functional teamsStrong Candidates May Also HaveExperience scaling IT infrastructure in high-growth technology companiesBackground in IT service this role is listed below.Annual Salary: $290,000 —$365,000 USDLogisticsMinimum education: Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experienceRequired field of study: A field relevant to the role as demonstrated through coursework, training, or professional experienceMinimum years of experience: Years of experience required will correlate with the internal job level requirements for the positionLocation-based hybrid policy: Currently, we expect all staff to be in one of our offices at least 25% of the time.
