About the Role

The Company is seeking an Executive Director to lead its mission of transformative, long-term, and high-touch investment in the leadership and organizational capacity of change-makers. The successful candidate will be responsible for strategic and program leadership, including vision and strategic development, implementation of action plans, and driving impact in the organization's work. This role requires a dynamic leader with a strong equity lens, operational skills, and the ability to innovate in response to emerging organizational needs. The Executive Director will also be the primary spokesperson and chief fundraiser, expected to inspire confidence, and demonstrate superior leadership, management, and communication skills. Candidates for the Executive Director position at the company should have a minimum of 10 years' experience in social policy, community trends, program evaluation, board relations, financial management, and trust-based philanthropy, with at least five years in a leadership role. The role demands a leader with a keen intellect, the ability to convene funders, and a proven track record in team management, fundraising, and relationship development. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the social sector, a commitment to social impact and movement building, and a strong alignment with the company's values. Strategic thinking, the ability to unify a team around a shared vision, and a collaborative, communicative approach are essential. The Executive Director will also be expected to have a strong understanding of cross-cultural differences and a proven ability to manage a geographically dispersed team.
