Associate Veterinarian

Associate Veterinarian – Internal Medicine & Ultrasound Highland Animal Hospital is seeking an experienced small animal veterinarian (5+ years) to join our high-volume walk‑in practice as a medical‑forward general practitioner. The role focuses on internal medicine workups, abdominal ultrasound, and preventative medicine. Responsibilities Diagnose and treat a wide variety of medical cases, with emphasis on internal medicine. Perform abdominal ultrasound and complex diagnostic procedures. Manage internal medicine cases and refer for surgical or diagnostic services when needed. Provide high‑quality preventive and wellness care. Communicate effectively with clients and team members. Qualifications Minimum 5 years of small animal clinical experience. Highly skilled in abdominal ultrasound and preferably echocardiograms. Strong interest in internal medicine and comfortable managing complex cases. Excellent communicator and client relationship builder. High production record. What We Offer 4‑day work week (~33 hours per week). 3 weeks paid vacation. True 7:1 FTE staff‑to‑doctor ratio. High case volume with strong support infrastructure.
