Allied Technician - Pharmacist

Pharmacist Inpatient
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Pharmacist to join our inpatient pharmacy team. The ideal candidate will possess specialized certifications and relevant inpatient experience. This position requires a commitment to providing exceptional pharmaceutical care in an acute care setting.
Shift Details
7 on, 7 off schedule (Wednesday - Tuesday)
Night shifts: 3x10-Hour (20:30 - 07:00) or 4x10-Hour (20:30 - 07:00)
Certifications Required
Chemo/Hazardous Drug Certification
IV Certification
Registered Pharmacist (RPh)
Work Experience Required
Minimum of 1 year of experience in inpatient or acute care pharmacy
First-time travelers will be considered
Key Responsibilities
The Pharmacist will be responsible for:
Dispensing medications accurately and safely to inpatient units
Collaborating with healthcare teams to optimize medication therapy
Managing hazardous drugs and chemotherapy protocols
Providing drug information and counseling to healthcare professionals
Participating in pharmacy clinical programs
Qualifications
Prospective candidates should meet the following qualifications:
Proven experience in a pharmacy environment, preferably in inpatient or acute care settings
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively in a dynamic healthcare team
