This position will require travel between all MLH Hospitals and provide per diem coverage in our Hospitalist Medicine and ICU departments.

Position: Per Diem, Physician Assistant - Hospitalist Medicine and ICU

Shift: Per Diem - minimum 2 shifts/month covering mainly swing and night shifts

Experience:
1. Two years Physician Assistant experience in an ICU setting is required.
2. A minimum of two years nursing experience in a critical care setting preferred.


Education:
1. Completion of a Physician Assistant program required.

Licensures/Certifications:
1. Licensed by the Pennsylvania State Board of certification by the NCCPA (National Commission for Certification of Physician Assistants)
2. BLS certification required.
3. Current license to practice medicine in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania without restriction
4. Prescriptive Authority and Collaborative Agreement with the Pennsylvania State Board of Nursing (CRNPs) OR Written Agreement with the Pennsylvania State Board of Medicine/Osteopathic Medicine (PA-Cs)
5. Registration with the DEA to prescribe, without restriction or limitation
6. Current ACLS certification Required
7. Completion of the MLH and MLHC credentialing processes resulting in temporary or permanent privileges issued and successful payor enrollment.
