Job Title

Emergency Room (ER) - Registered Nurse - Travel

Location

Port Charlotte, FL | Acute Care

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Night Shift | 12-Hour Shifts | 36 Hours per Week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a high-acuity, non-trauma Emergency Room setting
• Manage patient assignments at a 1:5 nurse-to-patient ratio with high-acuity holds
• Assess, monitor, and respond to rapidly changing patient conditions throughout the shift
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with facility standards

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 1 year of Emergency Room nursing experience
• ACLS certification required
• BLS certification required
• PALS certification required
• Navy Blue scrubs required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Ventilator experience strongly preferred
• Experience managing high-acuity patient populations
• Familiarity with non-trauma emergency department workflows
