Growing together.As a per diem, nonexempt Staff Pharmacist, you will fill orders with accuracy; check technician-prepared products before release; maintain the security of pharmacy and controlled substances; enter orders and patient information with accuracy; aid in the training of new staff; update the Director about the daily activities of the pharmacy; and aid the Director in maintaining the pharmacy.Primary Responsibilities:Review, verify, and dispense medication orders to ensure appropriateness, safety, and accuracyCollaborate with physicians, nurses, and care teams to optimize medication regimens for hospitalized patientsMonitor medication safety, identifying and preventing adverse drug eventsSupervise and support pharmacy technicians and interns, ensuring efficient and compliant workflowEnsure regulatory and accreditation compliance, including Joint Commission, state, and federal requirementsLocation: Cedar Ridge Behavioral Health offers acute and residential care to the pediatric population (5-17 years of age) and acute care to the adult population.Schedule: This per diem, nonexempt position will provide coverage one weekend per month (Saturday & Sunday) from 7am-3pm as well as PTO coverage as needed. Weekday and Holiday availability is also requested.About the Pharmacy: Pharmacy hours are weekdays and holidays from 7:00am-3:00pm and weekends 7:00am-3:00pm. The pharmacy utilizes both HCS and Omnicell.You'll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in.Required Qualifications:Pharmacy degree (BS) from an ACPE accredited school of pharmacyCurrent State of Oklahoma pharmacist license in good standingExperience using computer applications including word processing, spreadsheets, and pharmacy information systemsDemonstrated ability to work independently, set priorities, make critical decisions, and respond to client concernsDemonstrated accuracy and timeliness in a work settingPreferred Qualifications:PharmDExperience as a pharmacist in a hospital settingPay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The hourly pay for this role will range from $44.00 to $79.00 per hour based on full-time employment.
