Software Engineering Manager, Global Licensing

Responsibilities

• Own team deliverables and objectives
• Set technical strategy and engineering best practices in collaboration with senior engineers
• Provide active career development and technical guidance to engineers
• Hire, build your team, and manage performance
• Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to ensure successful project management
• Build, drive and uplift a dynamic and highly effective engineering team
• Own the creation and delivery of innovative products

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field
• Passionate engineering leader with at least 2 years of experience leading teams of 6‑10+ software engineers
• Hands‑on leader who writes code, conducts code reviews, and is involved in architectural design and strategy work
• Excellent communication skills and proven track record in hiring and team building
• Thrives in ambiguity and fast‑paced, evolving environments
• Empathetic leader who builds strong teams

Apt Desired Skills

• Experience with Java, Angular, React, and AWS (not mandatory but a plus)
