We offer competitive pay and benefits, and well-being programs to support you and your family.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesScheduling and participating in turnover walkdowns.Developing turnover packages to present to the appropriate accepting organization using the required turnover forms.Coordinating with the accepting organization to compile a turnover punch list.Facilitating designating each punch list item as either "A" or "B" punch list items.Notifying the accepting organization an SSC(s) is ready for turnoverRequesting the Facility Manager to determine if a Final Acceptance Inspection in accordance with Manual 8Q. Procedure 51 is required when Operations is the accepting organizationPrepare and document all required turnover deliverables, including as-built drawings, equipment lists, and operational manuals.Ensure all turnover activities meet nuclear regulatory requirements and safety standards.Liaise with contractors, vendors, and internal teams to confirm completion of work, resolve documentation discrepancies, and verify readiness for handover.Maintain accurate records for audits, inspections, and future operations.Education and LicensureBachelor's degree in a technical discipline and 10 years of relevant experienceAssociate degree in a technical discipline and 14 years of relevant experienceSkills, Experience and QualificationsREQUIRED SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:At least 10 to 14 years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.A comprehensive level of knowledge and understanding of all aspects of the functional area assigned is required, including specific knowledge of a facility or area or location supported, where appropriate.Thorough knowledge and understanding of all pertinent policies, practices, procedures, DOE orders and regulatory statutes which impact the function or facility supportedExcellent communication and coordination skills to manage cross-functional teams.Ability to work in highly regulated environments with attention to detail and safety.Strong analytical skills to interpret project turnover requirements and resolve documentation discrepancies.Ability to make independent decisions regarding compliance enforcement and corrective action recommendations.Strong verbal and written communication skills for coordinating with project teams, subcontractors, and owner representatives.Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while managing competing priorities.Due to federal contract security requirements, this position requires U.S. Citizenship.Due to federal contract security requirements, candidates must be able to successfully pass a federal background investigation to secure and maintain DOE Q security clearance.Health & Safety training, medical monitoring, and client-driven drug and background testing.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS & LOCATION DETAILS:Candidates with previous testing, commissioning, and startup of DOE facilities is preferred.Strong understanding of nuclear facility operations and regulatory compliance.Experience with turnover documentation and project closeout processes.Proficiency in engineering drawings, manuals, and compliance checklists.1-3 years of experience in industrial construction, completions, turnover, or QA/QC.Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Primavera P6.Fundamental understanding of turnover documentation, commissioning, and quality compliance.A 40 hour work week is scheduled. SRNS utilizes various work schedules including 5/8s (8 hour/day; five days per week), 4/10's (10 hours/day; four days per week), and 9/80's (9 hours/day, five days on week AA and four days on week BB. Work week excludes SRNS holidays. Each workday has 30-minute lunch. Overtime will be expected at times to meet deliverables and will be utilized at the discretion of the Manager. May be expected to support the backshift on occasion.Please note that federal contractors are required to maintain a drug-free workplace.
