Job Description

This role supports recycling operations in a warehouse environment by sorting and separating recyclable materials and operating specialized equipment. You will help ensure materials move efficiently through the facility while maintaining a safe, clean, and organized work area.

Responsibilities

• Sort and separate recyclable materials according to established categories and quality standards.
• Operate the baler to compact recyclable materials safely and efficiently.
• Operate the Styrofoam densifier to process Styrofoam and related materials according to procedures.
• Handle materials throughout the warehouse, including loading, unloading, stacking, and organizing items.
• Monitor equipment during operation and report any malfunctions, safety concerns, or maintenance needs promptly.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area by removing debris, organizing materials, and following housekeeping standards.
• Follow all workplace safety rules, procedures, and guidelines, including the proper use of equipment and tools.
• Work cooperatively with team members and supervisors to meet productivity and quality goals.
• Adapt to changing work assignments and support other warehouse tasks as needed.
• Be available to work scheduled shifts and potential overtime as required by business needs.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Bolingbrook, IL.

The pay range for this position is $20.45 - $20.45/hr.
