What You ll Do

• Conduct comprehensive eye examinations to diagnose eye conditions and visual disorders
• Prescribe and manage treatments, including ocular medications and therapies
• Assist patients with eyewear selection, contact lenses, and vision care products
• Collaborate with team members to ensure excellent patient experiences
• Stay current with advancements in optometry technology and practices
• Support a broad scope of services, including pre/post-operative care and medical therapeutics
• Maintain accurate patient records following compliance standards

What You Need

• Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree
• Current AL State Optometry License
• Strong communication and patient care skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Preferred: prior experience in primary and medical eye care
