Description:
Registered Nurse needed for the Emergency Department.
The position requires a minimum of 1 year of experience.
First-time travelers are not accepted.
The patient population ranges from infants to geriatrics.
The nurse will be responsible for managing patients from diverse backgrounds.
Certifications required include BLS, ACLS, and PALS.
The nurse will handle a variety of emergency situations.
Strong skills in biPAP/CPAP management and care of ventilated patients are needed.
Experience with central line care or management is essential.
The nurse should be proficient in IV vasopressors and management of dysrhythmias.
Ability to triage patients effectively is required.
The unit has an average daily census of 135.
There are 46 rooms available for patient care.
Mandatory holiday work may apply depending on the assignment.
Flexible scheduling is key, and every other weekend is expected unless specified otherwise.
Floating to potentially another campus may be required.
Compliance with onboarding requirements is mandatory to start on time.
All requests for time off must be finalized at the time of submission.
