Process detainee funds deposits sent through money order or other means.Responsible for maintenance of routine accounting records and reports in accordance with established procedures such as accounts payable, accounts receivable, inventory control or general accounting records.Assist with payroll as applicable.Responsible for petty cash.Perform miscellaneous clerical duties involving typing, filing, accumulating data and preparation of repetitive reports.Requires long periods of sitting and some walking.Incumbents are required to work overtime when directed to do so.Regular and predictable onsite attendance is required.What you will needHigh school diploma or GEDAcademic training in bookkeeping, accounting and experience with automated accounting systems or programs highly desiredOne year of varied and responsible accounting or bookkeeping experienceUS citizenship or lawful US permanent resident is requiredValid driver's license with an acceptable driving record requiredMust successfully complete required preservice training post-hireAt MTC, we care about people and believe meaningful work can create lasting impact.
