Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery

$1836.00/week -

Job Summary:

Responsibilities:

• 
  Assess and monitor laboring patients vital signs, fetal heart rates, and progression of labor.
  
  
• 
  Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  
  
• 
  Administer medications, including induction agents and pain management, following protocols.
  
  
• 
  Assist during labor and delivery, providing circulating or scrub nurse support in the OB-OR.
  
  
• 
  Educate patients and families on labor process, postpartum care, and newborn care.
  
  
• 
  Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately in the electronic health record.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Active Ohio or Compact State nursing license at the time of submission.
  
  
• 
  Minimum of 18 months recent, perm experience in Labor and Delivery in a hospital setting.
  
  
• 
  Current certifications in ACLS, BLS, NRP, and STABLE in hand at submission.
  
  
• 
  Successful completion of ECG rhythm recognition test and Safe Medicate assessment during orientation.
  
  
• 
  Must submit one recent reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director within the past 12 months.
  
  
• 
  Ability to recognize ECG rhythms and medication safety protocols required.
