LPN/LVN Rehabilitation

Job Title: LPN/LVN Profession: Nursing Specialty: Rehabilitation Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 18:30 - 07:00 Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Active LPN/LVN License Certifications: BLS Must-Have: Must have a minimum of 13 weeks of Epic experience. Must have inpatient rehabilitation experience or medical-surgical experience. 70% of patient cases come referred from a trauma center.

Description: This is a free-standing, acute inpatient rehabilitation facility. The facility offers specialized programs for individuals who have experienced strokes, brain and spinal-cord injuries, amputations, and complex orthopedic injuries. The goal is to help patients achieve their highest level of recovery with an aim of returning home as soon as possible. The facility strives to maximize the health, function, and quality of life of those served through comprehensive physical medicine and rehabilitation programs. Accredited by The Joint Commission and CARF for comprehensive integrated inpatient rehabilitation and stroke specialty programs. All nursing staff is required to assist with patient care needs and ensure patient safety. Staff will have a mandatory 30-minute break unless otherwise approved. Two paid 15-minute breaks are allotted during a 12-hour shift. Staff must clock out for the mandatory break. Nurses work with a high-acuity patient population requiring inpatient rehabilitation services. Patient ratios may reach 1:7. Equipment includes mobility devices, vital machines, and computers for charting. Electronic health records are maintained using Epic.
