The Senior Associate, Tax Reporting & Compliance supports the preparation and review of Match Group's tax accounting and compliance. This role contributes to ASC 740 tax accounting and reporting, including the preparation and review of tax accounts and related financial statement disclosures in accordance with GAAP and SEC requirements. The role also supports Match Group's income tax compliance obligations, including the preparation, review, and filing of federal and state income tax returns and related estimated tax payments. In addition to supporting U.S. filing obligations this position also supports the local income tax filings of various foreign jurisdictions and the associated return to provision calculations.

\n How you'll make an impact:

• Prepare quarterly and annual income tax provisions (ASC 740) including deferred tax assets/liabilities, valuation allowances and effective tax rate reconciliations.

• Prepare and review assigned federal and state income tax compliance, including estimated payments and supporting workpapers.

• Review assigned foreign income tax return filings and the associated return to provision calculations.

• Follow, maintain, and document accounting- and compliance-related internal controls and procedures in accordance with SOX 404 guidelines.

• Stay current on tax laws, rules, regulations, and accounting pronouncements impacting Match Group.

• Support tax audits and appeals, as necessary.

• Prepare and maintain deferred tax accounts.

• Analyze tax records and reports.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

We could be a match if:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting.

• Master's degree in Tax preferred.

• CPA preferred.

• 3 - 5 years of tax experience.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and OneSource Tax Provision or equivalent tax provision software.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Ability to adapt to changing organizational and operational needs.

• Strong team player with the ability to work across multiple functions and disciplines.

• Strong organizational, prioritization, and attention-to-detail skills.

What's the team like?

• In this role, you will report to the Senior Manager, Tax Reporting & Compliance.

• The Reporting and Compliance team supports Match Group's federal income tax provision and compliance function, working closely with the broader Tax group (planning, audit, transfer pricing and indirect tax workstreams) as well as outsourced preparers to deliver accurate, timely provision and return filings across the consolidated group.

• Senior Associates who succeed on this team are dynamic, detail-oriented, comfortable managing multiple deliverables and deadlines at once, proactive about flagging open items and technical issues, and effective at coordinating with both internal stakeholders and external preparers to keep filings and provision support on track.
