The Inventory Cycle Counter is responsible for maintaining inventory accuracy through regular cycle counts and timely escalation of discrepancies. This role is critical to ensuring system integrity by verifying physical inventory, supporting inventory transactions, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve issues. This is a highly physical role requiring frequent walking throughout the facility and active engagement on the production floor and in warehouse environments.

Perform cycle counts and reconcile physical inventory against system records, documenting discrepancies.

Execute basic inventory scanning transactions to maintain system accuracy.

Work with Receiving, Shipping, and Production teams to locate and verify materials as needed.

Support FIFO practices by identifying and rotating aging or misplaced materials.

Assist in resolving inventory issues by working with supervisors and team members.

Assist with labeling, bay organization, and location accuracy.

Prepare areas for physical inventory events (sorting, organizing, staging materials).

Communicate clearly and professionally when reporting counts or escalating issues.

Safely move materials using carts, pallet jacks, or forklifts.

Perform other duties as assigned by leadership.

What makes a successful OC Stokesdale team member:

Must haves include Previous experience in warehouse operations, inventory control, or manufacturing is preferred but not required. Experience with RF scanners, forklifts or inventory systems is a plus. Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and simple fractions) Basic computer skills (Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word) Ability to follow standard operating procedures Problem-solving mindset and willingness to learn Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment Positive attitude and strong work ethic Ability to perform physical tasks including frequent walking, standing, bending, and lifting throughout the shift Comfortable working in a manufacturing and warehouse environment There are some essential physical requirements specific to our work environment, including being able to: Do repetitive movements (hand, wrist, and arm) Normal and / or corrected hearing and vision with good hand eye coordination Walking, bending, twisting, stooping, climbing stairs, and lifting objects Lift up to 35 lbs. Withstand heat in excess of 95 degrees Be exposed to wood dust and aluminum with no factors or hazards present to a disagreeable extent
