- Role: Medical Lab Tech
- Specialty: Lab
- Number of Openings: 1
- Shift: Nights (3x12)
- Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36
- Weekend Hours: As needed
- Call Requirements: None Required Qualifications:
- Certifications: MLT or a bachelor's degree that meets a certification agency's requirement, or completion of a 50-week U.S. military medical laboratory training course
- Years of Experience: 3+ years
- Float Requirements: None Unit Information:
- Number of Beds: N/A
- Patient Ratios: N/A
- Equipment: Generalist
- EMR: EPIC Key Responsibilities:
- Perform laboratory tests with accuracy, precision, and timeliness
- Evaluate and report test results, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
- Maintain the quality expected in a World Class Laboratory
- Conduct phlebotomy for morning pulls Preferred Qualifications:
- MT (ASCP) or equivalent certification
- Certification as a Medical Technologist by ASCP or equivalent
- Compliance with certification maintenance requirements if certified after 1/1/04 Personality Fit:
- Thrive in a dynamic environment
- Team player with a passion for improving patient outcomes Dress Code:
- Scrub Color: Black; Mercy t-shirt optional if purchased
