1St Shift Picker/Packer

We're hiring a Picker/Packer to support a fast-paced food manufacturing environment. This role focuses on packing finished product, preparing cartons/trays, labeling, and performing basic quality checks while following GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Work effectively with others and contribute to a team-focused environment
• Maintain a clean, safe work area at all times
• Follow all GMP and food safety requirements
• Meet packing line speed standards consistently
• Prepare cartons and/or trays for packaging finished goods
• Stack finished product properly (including display/appearance standards)
• Label cartons and packaging accurately for appearance and correct placement
• Inspect finished product and remove defective/out-of-spec items before packing
• Provide break relief support as needed
• Assist with rework/repack processes
• Support training of new team members when needed
• Assist with changeovers, basic machine setup, and cleaning
• Notify supervisors of any issues and follow all company policies/procedures
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications / Requirements

• Ability to read, follow, and record written instructions
• Ability to perform simple math calculations
• Ability to work independently and stay on task
• Comfortable working in a production/packing environment with safety and quality rules

Physical Requirements

• Lift up to 30 lbs (Tier 3)
• Standing, walking, repetitive motion (packing/labeling), and working at line speed
